Sybil Smith-Gray, PhD, founder of No Harm, No Foul, is a licensed clinical psychologist in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. She has more than a decade of experience providing assessments and interventions to juvenile and young adult males with a history of criminal justice system involvement for felony offenses. She has been qualified as an expert witness in various local jurisdictions and has provided trial consultation to attorneys in criminal cases involving juvenile and young adult male offenders from all walks of life.
Eventually, Dr. Gray’s expertise in identifying and addressing severe character disturbances in the offender population led to local consultation referrals from area professionals working with young elite athletes displaying similar behaviors. Since 2004, Dr. Gray has worked directly with players from amateur, college and professional ranks. Her clients represent a variety of sports backgrounds including football, basketball, golf, baseball, soccer, swimming, and tennis.
Dr. Gray’s total commitment to empowering individual athletes, coaches and sports organizations through her knowledge, experience and proven results has resulted in the development of the No Harm, No Foul, Fundamental Athlete Character Training System (FACTS).
